With a massively-successful career that’s spanned almost four decades, +Robert Downey Jr. is still one of the hottest stars in Tinseltown. And last night (April
12) the “Judge” hunk was honored with the Generation Award.
Downey’s “Avengers” costars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth presented the trophy during the +MTV Movie Awards 2015 and Robert gave a touching and witty acceptance speech.
He stated, “I’ve failed, I’ve succeeded, I’ve grown up, I’ve partied way too much. I’ve literally clawed [my] way to the top. And if a man is judged by the company of his friends, then I must be doing something right. Dream big, work hard and keep your nose clean because you can define your generation.”
